We do our best work where the stakes aren't only financial.

We chose verticals where a broken system has costs measured in something other than dollars β€” patient outcomes, environmental risk, public trust, tuition paid. Below is what each looks like inside our practice.

Healthcare

Hospital systems and academic medical centers.

Healthcare has been a core vertical since the firm's earliest years. We run on the assumption that the systems we touch end up, eventually, in the room with a clinician and a patient. Reliability matters more than novelty here.

Typical engagements: EPIC integration work, clinical mobile apps for bedside data capture and rounding, patient-monitoring companion apps, identity and access management programs that pass HIPAA scrutiny, and HIPAA-grade managed services for the back-office systems that hospital IT teams are too lean to operate alone.

Higher Education

Research universities, academic medical centers, and small private colleges.

Higher ed is our flagship Workday vertical. We came to it through the academic medical centers we already served, and stayed because the work is interesting and the people who run university finance and HR offices are unusually thoughtful clients.

Typical engagements: Workday Student deployments and ongoing optimization, migration off legacy SIS like Banner, Colleague, and PeopleSoft Campus Solutions, Workday Financial Management for fund accounting and grants, Adaptive Planning for tuition and multi-year financial planning, and reporting that reconciles to IPEDS and federal grant requirements.

Energy

Upstream, midstream, and field-service operators.

Houston is an energy town and we've built field-data systems and leak-detection workflow tools for operators who work in environments where Wi-Fi is theoretical. Our mobile work in this vertical is offline-first by default.

Typical engagements: rugged mobile applications for inspectors and field crews with conflict-free sync when connectivity returns, custom workflow systems for incident response and regulatory reporting, integration between field tools and SCADA / ERP systems.

Public Sector

State and local agencies, primarily in Texas and South Carolina.

We are an awarded prime on the Texas DIR ITSAC and South Carolina ITSAC staffing vehicles, which is the part you can verify on a procurement portal. The work we actually do for state agencies covers the full job-category catalog: application development, cybersecurity, ERP, database engineering, project management.

We hold ourselves to a higher standard on public-sector work because the bills are paid with taxes. We bill cleanly, document everything, and we won't put someone on a state engagement we wouldn't put on a paying private client.

Mid-market with serious back-office

Companies who outgrew QuickBooks and still aren't ready for a 200-person SI.

Our mid-market clients tend to have a real PeopleSoft, Workday, or Oracle Financials footprint and a small internal team that needs senior help without the overhead of a global firm. We are sized to be useful here: experienced enough to handle the work, small enough to actually return your call.

Typical engagements: ERP support and upgrades, integration work, financial reporting, IAM programs, managed services for the back-office stack.
